With its new ultra-modern production factory Soromap can produce aluminium masts, rigging, lifelines… for yachts and boats (ex: Archambault, Beneteau, Jeanneau, Catana, Fountaine Pajot, Harmony, Dufour, Gib-sea, Alubat, Kirie, Comar, Delphia, Evreka Marine, Alutech etc.) as well as equipment for building, decorating and industry (SNCF, Alstom, Marseille Airport).
The range of SOROMAP Masts & Spars meet the new EC standard concerning yacht and pleasure craft stability by optimising "moment of inertia/weight per metre length" ratios.
SOROMAP Masts sections have thus the best ratios currently on the market.
They are an economic alternative to carbon masts. The length/width ratios of the sections have been designed to suit the new geometries of modern rigging, often fractional, with the trend to:
- reduce the number of sets of spreaders,
- increase the width between chain plates,
- angle spreaders backwards.
This range also has:
- spreader sections can integrated PVC protection fitted as standard on their trailing edge, thus avoiding any risk of increased sail wear particularly on rigs with spreaders angled backwards.
- ergonomic spreader tips with shroud clamping accessible from the outside, avoiding the necessity of dismantling the tip to correct its position on the wire.
The SOROMAP range of masts is the only one on the market to offer machined aluminium extrusions (mechanical qualities, finish, ...) for the following areas:
- Gooseneck fitting
- Vang fitting
- Gooseneck articulation
- Masthead
- Maststep
SOROMAP standing riggings is manufactured from 316L stainless steel.
SOROMAP Masts and Riggings are subject to rigourous quality control.
Your rigging will be supplied with a certificate of conformity with guarantees the traceability of each component part.
